There’s something incredibly special about travelling for Colour Capsule consultations, but my recent Canberra trip felt especially memorable.
Over two days, I had the privilege of meeting and analysing 12 incredible women, each with completely different lifestyles, personalities, colouring and stories. From corporate professionals to mums rediscovering themselves after years of putting everyone else first, every consultation reminded me why I started Colour Capsule in the first place.
And honestly? The transformations were incredible.
One of the biggest things I noticed throughout the two days was how many women arrived feeling completely disconnected from their wardrobe and personal style.
Almost every client said some version of:
“I wear black because it’s easy.”
“I have no idea what suits me anymore.”
“I buy clothes but never actually wear them.”
“I feel washed out all the time.”
“I don’t know why my makeup never looks right.”
These are such common frustrations, and they’re rarely about fashion itself.
More often, it’s about confidence, decision fatigue, and simply losing touch with yourself amongst busy careers, motherhood, relationships and everyday life.
What was so beautiful to witness was how quickly that shifted once we found their colours.
The moment a client sees the right colours against their skin is always magical. Their skin brightens, eyes become clearer, features lift naturally and suddenly they can actually see themselves properly again.
Throughout the Canberra consultations, we saw some amazing transformations across the 16-season system, including:

One of the biggest breakthroughs for many clients was understanding that colour analysis is not about “restricting” what you can wear.
It’s actually the opposite.
Once you understand your palette, shopping becomes easier, outfits become more cohesive, makeup makes more sense and getting dressed feels so much less overwhelming.
Instead of owning lots of random pieces that don’t work together, you start building a wardrobe that naturally mixes and matches because the colours are already in harmony with you.
That’s where the real transformation happens.
Not just in appearance, but in confidence.
One client told me she hadn’t felt excited to shop in years because she constantly second-guessed herself. Another said she finally understood why silver jewellery always looked better on her despite years of trying to force herself into gold trends.
These moments may seem small, but they genuinely change the way women see themselves every single day.
Canberra, thank you again for welcoming me so warmly. I absolutely loved meeting every single one of you and I’m already looking forward to returning again soon.
And to everyone who joined me - thank you for trusting me with your colours, your confidence and your stories!
